Family Photoshoot

Last year when I tried to get a family Christmas card photo, I used my tripod and put the camera on timer mode. Not a very good plan. I got smarter this year and had my sister Kimm use my camera to take our pictures. Here are some fun ones.

Twilight Mania

I went to the midnight showing of Twilight on opening night. Kylee and I had Twilight shirts thanks to our SIL Linderelli! (THANKS!!!) We had a fun time and enjoyed the movie. We went out to eat first and then sat in the theatre for 2 hours before the movie even started. But we played electronic gestures and talked to pass the time. The reason we went so early was because when we called the theatre at 1:30pm, people were already lining up!!!! WHAT???!!! I may be a crazy Twilight fan, but not that crazy! I have things to do during the day. Anyway, we had a great time.

The group. My neighbor Misty and her cousin Amy, and of course Kylee and me.
We are out to eat at Wingers. It was the first time eating there for me and I LOVED IT!

This is just me being silly, not lusting after another man. Just wanted to clarify. :)

L and A

These two cutie sisters live in the basement of the house we live in. These pictures are for their grandparents for Christmas. Both of these girls are so much fun. They get along great with my kids.

BYU Football

Kylee and I had the chance to go to a BYU football game a couple of weeks ago. We had such a fun time! Our seats were in the second row, right by where the team runs out on the field. After the game I put my hand over the edge and gave them all fives. So much fun. We enjoyed hot Cinnamon/sugar almonds. TO DIE FOR. And I also got my picture taken with Cosmo, our cougar mascot. Here are some pics. Oh and yes, we won!

Book Club Time! My Sister's Keeper

I really hope at least one of you found this book and read it. It's topic is so interesting and made me think. I'm wondering if you all were surprised by the ending, if you liked it, didn't like it. What are your thoughts? If you had a daughter with Leukemia and you had the chance to have a perfect genetic match second daughter, would you have her to save the first??? Interesting stuff. I enjoyed the book. I wasn't too surprised at the ending, although my sister Kylee was. I probably wasn't because she told me it was a surprise ending and so I was thinking up all sorts of stuff. I was surprised that the brother was the arsonist, but I'm glad things ended for him the way they did. Did you like the way each chapter was from a different point of view??

So any thoughts on this book people??? Would you read more Jodi Picoult books? I think I'm going to.

However, November's book is going to be.........

TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer

I know a lot of you have read this already, including myself, but the movie comes out this month (Kylee and I already have tickets for the midnight showing), and so I want to reread the book. Michelle, I know you have Kylee's copy, so get reading. :)

Kyah's 3 Year Portraits

I finally got out today to take some "official" three year pictures of Kyah. I had to bribe her with time on the swings to cooperate with me. She wasn't thrilled to be having her picture taken. Probably because the first time I made it to Gage's school to take her pics, I opened up my camera bag only to find no camera in it! We went back at the end of Gage's school day to get these pics. Uggh. I shouldn't say uggh because I actually love the way they turned out.

Here is a little sampling.

Happy Halloween

We had a great Halloween yesterday. Kyah had a preschool party and Gage had a parade at school and a program for parents. (so cute!) And of course we went trick or treating and had cider at Grandmas. The kids were exhausted when we got home! I did have time to take pictures after Kyah's party and before Gage went to school. I'm so glad I did because I like them way better than the pictures I took a couple of weeks ago.

This pictures sums up Kyah perfectly.
