Homecoming Races

The kids got to participate in their first race on Oct. 11th. It was BYU's homecoming and they put on this event. Kyah ran the 200 meter dash and Gage ran the 400 meter dash! They each were in the back of the pack, but they will tell you otherwise. :) Gage actually will tell you that he started in the back but made a comeback. The morning of the races it was sooooo cold!! You will see that is was snowing during Kyah's race. They didn't care though. They had a great time and are looking forward to the next race, hopefully a Turkey Trot. I took video of them finishing their races and then a post race interview. After they raced, I decided it was too cold for them to sit around to wait for me to run the 5K. So we skipped my race and went to Starbucks for some hot cocoa. Fun fun. Here are my speed racers!
